She then worked at Qualcomm as a software test/quality engineer in the field of wireless telecommunications, then a Staff/Manager position at Ericsson. Ms. Wheeler is the Principle Investigator (PI) on the NSF grant IIP-0848762, "STTR Phase II: General Robot Controller for Legged Mobile Robots with Integrated Open Source Software".   Mr. Robin Knight is the Co-Founder and CTO of RoadNarrows LLC, a robotics and intelligent systems company. Mr. Knight has a Masters degree in Mathematics from University of California Santa Barbara, and worked for Occidental Petroleum, Bell Labs and Qualcomm. Mr. Knight has a passion for intelligent systems and robotics that model biological systems. He is the chief design and system architect of the NSF grant "Scalable Computer Clusters Applied to Sensing and Control of Intelligent Manipulators for Agile Manufacturing" and is the Principle Investigator on the NIST grant: "An Extensible 6DOF Vision Framework for Accurate Location and Pose Estimation in a Scene Graph Context".

M. Philippe Kervizic was head of business development of POB-Technology of Lyon, France. In 2006 there were no customers, but by 2010 POB products were distributed in 38 countries, accessible by 50,000 students - making POB one of the leading educational robotics company in the world. M. Kervizic is founder of Robotics Business Development in Lyon, France.   Dr. Igor Gamow served as Associate Professor at University of Colorado, Boulder from 1968 to 2004 in Aerospace Engineering Sciences (Space Biology) followed by an appointment in the department of Chemical Engineering. He taught courses such as Structures, Animal Locomotion, and Bioenergetics. He holds numerous patents for commercial products including the high-altitude Gamow bag which saved many lives of mountain climbers and the SUBA (Shallow Underwater Breathing Apparatus). Dr. Gamow is very familiar with taking ideas from concept to market. He has recently founded a new company called Big Bang Productions to bring his Father's Mr. Tompkin's Adventures to an educational comic format both in print and as iPad applications.
