The Overo™ Earth computer-on-module series, based on the Texas Intruments OMAP 3503 600MHz Arm® Cortex™ A8 µprocessor, gives open source innovators access to the industry’s highest performance, generally available ARM® based platform in the tiniest, lowest cost Linux computer available. At only 17mm x 58mm x 4.2mm in size, the Overo™ Earth computer-on-module is ideal for small, mobile and hand held applications such as robotics, mobile computing, data collection, telecom, remote operations, transportation, and embedded systems. The power consumption of the Overo Earth computer-on-module is typically less than 1W.

The Overo™ has the Summit I/O expansion board available. Future pin-compatible expansion boards are expected.
