Quick Overview

KoreIO-LE is a version of the KoreBot general Input and Output extension board. It provides all the main features of the KoreIO board at a much better price. Included interfaces are additional digital IO, digital power outputs, 10 bit analog inputs, I2C bus connections, etc.

The KoreIOLE board is used as a KoreBot Extension that provides sev-
eral inputs and ouputs features. All digital IO can be used as low frequency
PWM outputs as well as standard IO. A set of 10 bits, timestamped analog
inputs can be polled consitently. For communication with other devices, the
KoreIO can be used as bridge to an I2C bus. Many signals of korebot are
available on the KoreIOLE, like PXA PWM, PXA TxD & Rxd, and PXA
GPIO.
The KoreIOLE can receive commands from an I2C bus or a KoreBot.
The KoreIOLE supports the KB-250 interface. The KB-250 interface is an open standard interface to expand the functionality of an existing KoreBot base platform in a easy and fast way. Besides using a full line of off-the-shelf KB-250 modules, developers can also design their own modules. KB-250 modules can be used singularly or stacked together to give the needed functionality. Several KoreIOLE boards can be placed on one stack to allow control of a large number of I/O.
A set of high level commands is provided, to easily interface KoreBot programs or for external operations.
