The SkewlZone Robot Hand for bipedal robots is an I2C device with a strain-gauge to sense gripping objects with two hands together. There are no fingers.
The Hand can work with any I2C master device for customized applications.
The sensor data is read via an I2C connection and is programmable, the Atmel firmware (C-code) is open-source and available. An Atmel programmer is needed if you desire to change the firmware.
