Hagisonic Stargazer rs 1.0
I am studying robotics and I just began working with a Hagisonic Stargazer rs 1.0 today. The unit is was purchased in the spring of 2010 from this site and was first worked on by some other students. The unit was working fine and one day it stopped sending out messages. This was the state of the device when I received it. There was no physical trauma to the device or anything else unusual. This sensor will play an important part in my research if I can get it working. If not I hope we can have it replaced because it was very expensive. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am curious if anyone else has experienced similar failure.

RE: Hagisonic Stargazer rs 1.0
The Hagisonic StarGazer RS Robot Localization System is a unique solution for Indoor localization of intelligent mobile robots. It analyzes infrared ray images reflected from a passive landmark with characteristic ID. The output of position and heading angle of a robot is given with very precise resolution and high speed. It is remarkably robust in environments that contain
infrared and fluorescence lights or sunshine. It is the worlds best in performance, convenience and cost.I was researching and found this valuable information so shared here... |

Yes Hagisonic Stargazer rs 1.0 is good to use but you can also go for Hagisonic Stargazer RS-232, it includes higher serial Interface with more
higher resolution. |
